What Is an Air Cooled Oil Cooler?
An air cooled oil cooler removes heat from hydraulic oil, compressor oil or other industrial fluids by blowing air across a vacuum-brazed aluminum plate-fin core. Hot fluid enters the core, heat transfers to the fins, and a fan carries it away - keeping your machine at a safe working temperature. We are a custom air cooled oil cooler manufacturer: every unit is engineered to your machine's size, heat load and mounting space, then built and tested in our own factory.
Custom Aluminum Plate-Fin Air Cooled Oil Cooler

How It Works
- Hot oil or compressed air enters the cooler from the hydraulic circuit, compressor or power unit.
- The fluid flows through the plate-fin core, and heat transfers to the plates and fins.
- A fan blows air across the fins, carrying the heat away.
- The cooled fluid returns to the circuit at a safe working temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an air cooled oil cooler?
An air cooled oil cooler is a heat exchanger that removes heat from hydraulic oil, compressor oil or other industrial fluids. Hot fluid flows through a vacuum-brazed aluminum plate-fin core while a fan blows air across the fins, returning the fluid to the circuit at a safe temperature.
Can you build an air cooled oil cooler to my specifications?
Yes. Our air coolers are non-standard products engineered to your machine's size, flow, heat load and mounting space. Send us your drawing, sample or duty parameters and we confirm a quotation within 24 hours.
What is the difference between plate-fin and bar and plate cores?
Both are vacuum-brazed aluminum cores with excellent thermal efficiency. Bar and plate (plate-fin) cores use a stronger fin-and-plate structure that withstands higher pressure pulses and thermal shock, which is why we use them for demanding industrial and hydraulic applications.
Do you supply replacement air compressor coolers for Atlas Copco or Ingersoll Rand?
Yes. We manufacture aftermarket replacement coolers and aftercoolers compatible with major compressor brands such as Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand and Sullair, built to the original envelope and duty.
What is your MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is flexible for samples; production lead time is typically 2-4 weeks depending on quantity and specifications.
